DC2 SQUAD
Be a part of the SQUAD!
DC2’s intermediate competition team.
DC2 SQUAD serves to be an intermediate performance and competition team, providing dancers with premium training experiences, performance opportunities, and a platform to grow personal skills of hard work, passion, and determination. The goal of the DC2 SQUAD is to train dancers to become more confident in their talents and prepare them to succeed in the future in a fun and safe environment. Our professional dance training will help dancers develop their self-esteem, learn teamwork skills, and practice good sportsmanship all while building lasting friendships and having fun.
Dancers will train in specialized classes including Jazz, Ballet, Technique/Progressions, Stretch/Strength, Tap and Hip-Hop (Danceline) during their Team classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. At Dance Connection 2, we pride ourselves in offering a variety of styles of dance to as many of our dancers as we can. It is important to the development of their technical skills and aids in their well-roundedness as an individual.
Our DC2 SQUAD Teams will be learning dances to showcase on stage in regional competitions and performances across the Valley! Dancers will be given the opportunity to learn several routines throughout the season from our amazing Faculty.

Alli Serpa, a 23-year-old native of Gilbert, Arizona, has been dancing since the age of 3 and is thrilled to be back at Dance Connection 2. As a former DC2 alumni and scholarship award recipient, Alli's passion for dance was ignited through her competitive dance career until her high school graduation in 2019. She began teaching as a teenager, and also gained a love for choreography through her high school dance company, Soulmatic Rhythm Dance Co. Alli has been trained in a wide range of styles over the years including jazz, ballroom, ballet, modern, partnering, and many more. After graduating from high school, Alli continued her dance education at the University of Arizona's School of Dance, where she received training from incredible educators with backgrounds from companies such as Juilliard, Giordano Dance Company, and Twyla Tharp Dance Company. She majored in dance with a minor in communications, and graduated with her BFA degree in 2023. After graduating from the University of Arizona, Alli went on to dance professionally with Royal Caribbean International onboard their Odyssey of the Seas for 8 months. During this time, she performed in their headlining show, "The Book," and traveled to over a dozen countries. She returned home from her contract this past February and has since started a job in digital marketing. However, dance will always remain at the forefront of Alli's heart, and she is beyond excited to be back teaching and sharing her knowledge at Dance Connection 2 once again!
